As a result of Russian strikes, electricity has been completely cut off on Kyiv’s left bank, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klitschko.

"The left bank of the capital is without electricity. There are also issues with water supply," the mayor wrote.

Klitschko also reported that, as of 3:45 a.m. Kyiv time, nine people have been injured in Kyiv, five of whom are hospitalized.

"Medical teams were also dispatched to the Desnianskyi district. The crew is on site," the mayor wrote.

Massive Russian attack

On the night of October 10, the Russian army is carrying out a massive attack on Ukraine using Shahed kamikaze drones. Air raid alerts have been issued across most regions of the country, and explosions are being heard.

The enemy’s main targets are energy infrastructure facilities.

In addition to drones, the attackers launched a large-scale ballistic missile strike on Kyiv, causing power disruptions in the city.
