Will the West comply with Putin's demand to halt aid to Ukraine?

European countries do not plan to halt military assistance to Ukraine, even if the United States decides to change its policy on arms supplies, political strategist Taras Zahorodnii expressed this opinion in a comment to RBC-Ukraine's YouTube channel while discussing the demand of Russian President Vladimir Putin for a truce with Ukraine.
According to him, Washington has already faced negative consequences from suspending support for Ukraine.
"They saw that it doesn't work, that Ukraine has advantages, and strikes on Russia continue," the expert noted.
He also pointed out that after the situation with the F-16s, when the US temporarily disabled them for Ukraine, concerns arose among its partners, including Canada and Portugal, about the reliability of American weapons.
The political analyst emphasized that such a situation could have serious consequences for the US military-industrial complex.
"I believe this was already pressure from the American defense industry, which hinted that their business was being harmed," he said.

According to the Kremlin, Putin told Trump that Ukraine must halt mobilization and the rearmament of its Armed Forces if a truce is established.
