US President Donald Trump said that the United States has "not even started hitting hard." He also announced a "big strike" against the Iranian regime, says CNN.
"We haven’t even started hitting them hard. The big wave hasn’t even happened. The big one is coming soon," the US President said.
Trump stressed that the United States is "knocking the crap out of" Iran and claimed that "everything is going very well." He added that the US has "the greatest military in the world and we’re using it."
"I don't want to see it go on too long. I always thought it would be four weeks. And we're a little ahead of schedule," he said.
Asked whether the US is taking any additional steps beyond military force to help the Iranian people regain control of their country by freeing themselves from the regime’s rule, Trump responded affirmatively.
"We are indeed. But right now we want everyone staying inside. It’s not safe out there. And it’s about to get even less safe," the US President emphasized.
Situation in the Middle East
On Saturday, February 28, Israel, together with the United States, carried out a series of strikes on Iran. According to President Donald Trump, the US launched a military campaign to eliminate threats posed by the current regime.
According to media reports, Trump ordered a large-scale air assault on Iran after prolonged lobbying by Israel and Saudi Arabia. As a result of the strikes, Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, was eliminated.
It is worth noting that in early February, satellite images showed the resumption of work at damaged Iranian nuclear facilities following US and Israeli strikes.
The images indicate that roofs have reappeared over buildings at two key sites — in Natanz and Isfahan — which had previously suffered significant destruction.
This was the first recorded activity at these sites since hostilities ended in June and may signal Iran’s shift from assessing damage to taking practical steps.
