Wave of sabotage attacks targeting security forces reported in Ukraine, sources
A wave of sabotage attacks against the security forces is being recorded in Ukraine. The attackers used explosives, according to sources in law enforcement.
One of the incidents involved the explosion of a serviceman. The incident occurred in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv. A package was lying near the car, and a camera was attached to a tree.
A guard was walking around the area and noticed the package. When the serviceman bent down to it, an explosive device was triggered, which was launched remotely. According to sources, the soldier died.
Another incident occurred in mid-November in the Pecherskyi district of Kyiv. The police received a report from a woman that she was being abused by her husband. She claimed that she had locked herself in the bathroom.
A police crew arrived at the scene. Law enforcement officers called the woman, and she said that the door to the apartment was unlocked and told them to come in. When the police opened the door and stepped into the apartment, they heard the grenade's trigger and closed the door.
An explosion occurred in the apartment corridor. According to sources, the apartment was rented. No one was killed in the explosion. Law enforcement officers detained those involved.
Another incident was recorded in the Darnytskyi district of the capital. The explosion occurred near the Darnytsia police station. It was also a sabotage and a camera was used.
Earlier, the Security Service and the National Police detained a group of young men in Odesa who were preparing terrorist attacks in Ukraine, ordered by Russia. The suspects have already carried out one explosion in Kyiv. According to RBC-Ukraine's sources, it was an explosion in the Darnytskyi district of the capital.
