Today, October 24, a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing will take place in London. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has already confirmed his participation in the event.

RBC-Ukraine previously reported that President Zelenskyy would personally take part in the meeting. On the eve of the event, Zelenskyy held talks with French President Emmanuel Macron.

The leaders coordinated their positions ahead of the Coalition of the Willing session and discussed the course of the war, ways to increase pressure on Russia, and the consequences of the latest massive strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

It should be noted that the Coalition of the Willing is an alliance of European countries and the United States established to support Ukraine in its war against Russia.

The initiative was launched by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on March 2, 2025. Its goal is to strengthen assistance to Ukraine, promote a peaceful settlement, and consider the possibility of deploying international security forces.

The coalition includes EU countries, NATO members, and states outside these organizations.
