Biden administration plans substantial aid package for Ukraine - Ukrainian Foreign Minister
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that the administration of current US President Joe Biden plans to deliver a substantial amount of military aid to Ukraine in the final weeks of his term.
The assistance will include, among other things, weapons and funding for contracts to produce new weapons under the support program for Ukraine.
Biden meets with Trump at the White House
Sky News reports that US President Joe Biden hosted future President Donald Trump at the White House. This is the first meeting between Biden and Trump since the presidential election.
The meeting between Biden and Trump took place as part of the transition of power from the current US administration to the incoming one.
Ukraine receives $1.35 billion in non-refundable aid from US
The United States has provided $1.35 billion in non-repayable assistance to Ukraine. These funds will go directly to Ukraine's state budget, according to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
According to Shmyhal, the US government directed this funding through the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in coordination with the US Department of the Treasury and the US State Department.
Russian troops used Ukraine's Forces uniforms during assault in Kupiansk sector - General Staff
Russian troops attempted to advance in the Kupiansk direction today, November 13. Some of them were dressed in Ukrainian Armed Forces uniforms, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Telegram.
According to the General Staff, starting from 02:30 PM Kyiv time, Russian soldiers attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses in the Kupiansk direction. The enemy's assault groups attacked in four waves.
