Unexploded shell found near Ukraine border in Romania

On Saturday, May 16, an unexploded unguided rocket was discovered in the Romanian village of Pardina, according to the website of Romania’s Ministry of National Defense.
According to the ministry, the report of the discovery came in at approximately 3:00 p.m.
"A notification was received that an unexploded unguided rocket had been found in the yard of an uninhabited house in the village of Pardina, Tulcea County," the statement reads.
They added that after the discovery, the area was cordoned off. Police, border guards, and intelligence services were on the scene.
According to a technical examination, the rocket’s casing contained two kilograms of explosive material.

For context, on the night of April 17, the Russians also attacked Ukraine with drones. That night, one of the enemy drones flew into Romanian territory.
On April 13, during a massive Russian attack, an enemy drone crossed Moldova’s border. It then circled in several districts of the country.
