Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Russian boat in the south. It was carrying enemy landing troops, according to the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine.
"Enemy boat with landing troops eliminated – a hit by the first battalion," the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine reported.
They added that warfare on the water is no less important or intense than on land.
What's happening on the frontline
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported earlier today that the most difficult situation remains in the Pokrovsk direction, where the majority of combat engagements are taking place.
As of 4:00 p.m., a total of 88 combat clashes had been recorded since the beginning of the day.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also confirmed that the fiercest fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk direction, in the Kursk area, and along the border of Sumy region.
According to him, Russian forces are not changing their tactics — they continue advancing despite suffering very heavy losses.
