Freezing hostilities along the front line is a realistic path toward ending Russia's war against Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, according to Fox News.
A journalist asked the head of state whether he would agree to a peace deal that would freeze everything along the current front line.
"Where you still keep 75% or more of your country, regardless of how it started. Would you accept where it is right now?" the journalist asked.
Zelenskyy answered in the affirmative, noting that a peace deal in this format could indeed stop Russian terror.
"Yes, right now we have to freeze. I think this is a real way to end this war," the Ukrainian president stressed.

According to him, Ukraine would then seek security guarantees from US President Donald Trump and its European allies to ensure peace and security.
"We call it ceasefire or stop killing like President Trump called it. Freeze and stop. And of course this is minimum what we need from Russia today," Zelenskyy added.
Zelenskyy previously said that Ukraine was not losing the war, but that there was another very serious problem.
RBC-Ukraine also reported earlier that Ukrainian, US and European delegations discussed ways to end the war in Oslo on October 20. The issue of security guarantees for Ukraine was also raised.
