Ukrainian Flamingos hit Russia's intercontinental ballistic missile plant

Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out overnight strikes on February 21 using Flamingo cruise missiles against targets in Russia, with the sites hit being the Votkinsk plant, which produces intercontinental ballistic missiles, and several other facilities, the General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces reported.
"The strike was launched using FP-5 Flamingo cruise missiles. The Votkinsk plant, a defense-industrial enterprise in the city of Votkinsk (Udmurt Republic, Russia), was hit. A fire has been recorded at the facility. The outcomes are being assessed," the statement said.
According to the General Staff, the Votkinsk Plant manufactures:
- RS-24 Yars, Yars-S, and Yars-M intercontinental ballistic missiles
- 3M30 (R-30) Bulava submarine-launched ballistic missiles for the 955A Borei-A project
- 9M723-1 ballistic missiles for the Iskander-M missile systems and 9-S-7760 missiles for the Kinzhal air-launched missile complex.
Strikes on enemy logistics
Ukrainian forces preliminarily struck the Neftegorsk gas processing plant in Russia's Samara region. The facility is involved in supplying the Russian army's needs. A fire was reported at the site following the attack, with the scale of the damage still being assessed.
Furthermore, in the temporarily occupied Ukraine's Donetsk region, the Defense Forces hit an enemy fuel and lubricants depot in Donetsk and a drone production and maintenance workshop near the settlement of Nova Karakuba.
The General Staff also reported a strike on a Russian logistics and supply depot in the Polohy settlement, in the temporarily occupied part of Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region.
"Enemy losses and the final outcomes of the damage are being assessed," the Ukrainian General Staff concluded.
