Ukrainian fighters down Russian reconnaissance drone in Zaporizhzhia region

On December 5, the Ukrainian military destroyed a Russian drone in the Zaporizhzhia region, according to the East Air Command.
"As of noon, an enemy reconnaissance UAV was destroyed in the Zaporizhzhia region," the report says.
The military did not specify the type of enemy drone, nor did they report on the area in which the enemy object was destroyed.
The situation at the frontline
Today, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian invaders, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defense of the Ukrainian military in the Avdiivka direction, but to no avail.
Also, on the night of Tuesday, December 5, Russian troops attacked Ukraine again, using both drones and missiles. As a result, 10 attack UAVs were destroyed in different regions of Ukraine.
Russia's losses in the war in Ukraine as of Tuesday morning, December 5, amounted to 1,030 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the invasion to 333,840.
