Ukrainian Air Force hits Russian drone base in Kursk region, eliminating up to 20 troops

The Ukrainian Air Force carried out a successful strike on a command post of Russian drone units in the area of Tyotkino, Kursk region. As a result, up to 20 soldiers were eliminated and their equipment was destroyed, according to the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On May 4, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a successful strike on a command post of enemy UAV units near the settlement of Tyotkino in Russia's Kursk region," the statement reads.
It is noted that crews operating reconnaissance and strike drones were based at this command post. As a result of the strike, up to 20 soldiers were eliminated and their equipment destroyed.
"Brave pilots of the Air Force and all of Ukraine's Defense Forces continue to systematically reduce the aggressor state's ability to wage its war of conquest," the General Staff emphasized.
Ukrainian Armed Forces strikes on Russian targets
On May 4, the Ukrainian Air Force struck a command post of Russian motorized rifle troops in the Bakhmut area. This had an impact on fighting in the Pokrovsk direction.
Additionally, the Defense Forces recently targeted a drone strike manufacturing plant in the Yelabuga district of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation), located more than 1,000 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border.
On April 15, Ukraine’s Defense Forces also hit the permanent deployment site of Russia’s 448th Missile Brigade in the Kursk region. This same brigade carried out a missile strike on the city of Sumy on April 13, Palm Sunday.
