Ukraine's Security Service downs Russian Mi-28 helicopter with FPV drone, source
The Security Service of Ukraine conducted a unique operation, shooting down a Russian Mi-28 helicopter using an FPV drone. Yesterday, soldiers of the SSU Center of Special Operations “A” hit the helicopter over the Kursk region of Russia, according to RBC-Ukraine source.
The video clearly shows how the SSU drone hits the rear rotor of the Russian vehicle.
“The SSU has once again demonstrated a high professional level, creative approach, and novelty of solutions to destroy the enemy. We still have many unexpected surprises for the Russians,” said an informed source in the SSU.
Ukrainian forces' attacks
On the night of August 3, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked the Morozovsk air base in the Rostov region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed. They hit ammunition depots where guided aerial bombs were stored.
According to RBC-Ukraine sources, the Defense Intelligence used drones to attack an oil depot on the territory of the Atlas plant of the Rosrezerv, which supplied fuel to Russian troops in eastern Ukraine.
In the Belgorod region, drones attacked an oil depot in the territory of the Gubkin city district. An oil depot in the Rostov region was also attacked.
