Ukrainian forces strike Morozovsk airfield near Rostov: General Staff reveals details
On the night of August 3, the Defense Forces struck the Morozovsk airfield (Rostov region, Russian Federation), according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"There were hits on ammunition depots, where, among other things, guided aerial bombs were stored. Information regarding the damage to enemy air defense systems and aircraft is being clarified," the report said.
According to the General Staff, the mission was carried out by the forces and means of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Attacks on oil depots in the Russian Federation
The Defense Forces also attacked several oil depots and fuel storage facilities of the Russian occupiers in the Belgorod, Kursk, and Rostov regions.
There is information about hits and subsequent fires in at least two oil tanks.
Attacks on the Morozovsk airfield, Rostov region
On the night of August 3, drones attacked the airfield in Morozovsk in the Rostov region.
It should be noted that this is not the first such attack. In July, the airfield in Morozovsk was also attacked, with reports of explosions in the city. In June, after the attack on the airfield in Morozovsk, the occupiers removed all Russian fighter jets.
In April, after the strike on the Morozovsk airfield, at least six Russian aircraft were destroyed, and another eight were significantly damaged.
