Over the past day, from August 13 to 14, the Russian army lost 990 personnel on the battlefield. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 5 tanks, 29 artillery systems, and up to 200 drones, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the Russian forces from February 24, 2022, to August 14, 2025, are approximately as follows:

  • personnel - about 1,067,100 (+990) Russian troops were eliminated;
  • tanks - 11,104 (+5);
  • troop-carrying AFVs - 23,130 (+3);
  • artillery systems - 31,458 (+29);
  • MLRS - 1,466 (+1);
  • anti-aircraft systems - 1207;

  • helicopters - 340;
  • UAV operational-tactical level - 51,043 (+191);
  • cruise missiles - 3,558;
  • warships/boats - 28;

  • vehicles and fuel tanks - 58,456 (+191);
  • special equipment - 3,937.

Situation on the front

As of the evening of August 13, there were 118 combat clashes on the front over the past day. The most difficult situation was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction — the Russian troops attacked the Defense Forces' positions 42 times in the areas of Volodymyrivka, Nykanorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, and other settlements.

There is also tension in the Novopavlivka, Siversk, Lyman, and Toretsk directions.

It was also reported that in the Pokrovsk direction, within the area of responsibility of the 1st National Guard Corps Azov, the enemy suffered significant losses over the past two days. More than 150 occupiers were eliminated.
