Situation in the Pokrovsk direction
On August 12, the 1st National Guard Corps Azov reported securing a section of the defensive line in the Pokrovsk direction. Despite challenging conditions, Russian forces are suffering heavy losses in both personnel and equipment.
We also reported that the hottest point along the front line remains the Pokrovsk direction. On August 12 alone, 165 combat clashes were recorded, and Russian forces dropped 183 guided bombs.
Access to Pokrovsk itself is impossible due to active shelling, preventing the delivery of humanitarian and medical aid.
Additionally, on August 13, Viktor Trehubov, a representative of the Operational Command Dnipro, reported Russian troop advances toward Dobropillia, citing a shortage of personnel in Ukrainian units as the main challenge. At the same time, Ukraine’s Defense Forces remain determined to repel and destroy the enemy.
