Drones attacked military airfield in Morozovsk, Rostov region
On the night of August 3, around 02:56, drones attacked Morozovsk in the Rostov region. Preliminary reports suggest that the drones struck a military airfield, according to Russian Telegram channels.
Following the incident, Governor Vasily Golubev reported that as a result of the massive drone attack on the Rostov region, warehouse facilities in the Kamensky and Morozovsky districts were damaged.
"Emergency services are working to extinguish the fires. Information on casualties is being confirmed," he added.
Russian channels note that Morozovsk hosts a military airfield, and according to residents, the explosions were heard specifically in that area.
Channels speculate that the detonation suggests a munitions storage facility is burning. There were also reports of explosions in Millerovo, which is likely due to air defense systems.
Around 03:30, Russian channels again reported explosions in Morozovsk.
Russian Telegram channels write that after the drone attack in the Kamensky district, fuel tanks are burning.

Telegram channels, citing residents, specified that the Atlas plant in the Kamensky district of the Rostov region was attacked by drones.
It is noted that drone strikes on Russian airfields have temporarily delayed Russia's attacks.
"Recently, drones have reached certain Russian airfields, including Olenya and others. There have been damaged bombers. This has allowed us to delay attacks on us by at least a few days," said Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Ukrainian Military Intelligence Directorate, during a television marathon.
Earlier, it was reported that on the night of August 2-3, five drones attacked the Oryol region. In the village of Zhylyna, two drones struck a 16-story building. According to the regional governor, air defense systems intercepted three out of five drones. There are reportedly no casualties from the attack.
