The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) stated that no Sea Baby drones have been lost in the Black Sea, and all of them continue to carry out combat missions, according to a comment from the SBU press service.

"All Sea Baby maritime unmanned systems of the Security Service of Ukraine involved in combat missions in the Black Sea continue carrying them out in accordance with approved plans and objectives. Not a single one has been lost," the statement reads.

The SBU emphasized that the operations are conducted within designated areas and are aimed exclusively at striking legitimate targets of Russia.

"None of the SBU’s Sea Baby unmanned systems entered Romania’s territorial waters. Ukraine strictly adheres to international law, does not violate international borders, and treats its partners with respect," the SBU press service reported.

Romania’s Ministry of Defense stated that it "neutralized" a Ukrainian Sea Baby maritime drone that was drifting in the Black Sea.

It was noted that an unknown object was spotted 66 kilometers from the city of Constanța in the Black Sea. After analysis, military divers determined it was a Sea Baby maritime drone.

Meanwhile, last week, RBC-Ukraine’s sources reported that tankers from Russia’s shadow fleet, Kairo and Virat, were attacked in the Black Sea.

According to the sources, upgraded Sea Baby maritime drones were used to strike the tankers.
