BlueBird Tech, in collaboration with one of the leading design bureaus, is developing and preparing for the mass production of domestically manufactured guided aerial bombs.

Leading Ukrainian engineers in the field of rocket engineering are being brought on board for a large-scale industrial project. BlueBird Tech and the Design Bureau have already moved on to working on the first engineering tasks.

This decision was a response to the current challenges on the front lines, namely, the need to scale up Ukraine’s high-precision and technologically advanced strike capabilities.

"We are joining forces with leading Ukrainian engineers and scientists to systematically break down rocket engineering challenges and analyze which solutions are most critical for Ukraine today. Every day, Russia uses hundreds of guided bombs. Ukraine must respond just as effectively. We see strong demand for such systems and understand how important they are for modern warfare. Therefore, first of all, we will begin serial production of Ukrainian-made guided bombs," BlueBird Tech states.

Ukrainian guided aerial bombs

A member of the Brave1 defense hub has created the first Ukrainian guided aerial bomb. Development took 17 months. The bomb is designed to destroy fortifications, command posts, and other Russian targets.

Key specifications:

  • Warhead – 250 kilograms
  • Capable of striking targets tens of kilometers from the launch site
  • Unique design, developed from scratch by Ukrainian specialists.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has already purchased the first experimental batch. Pilots are currently practicing combat scenarios and adapting the use of this new weapon to real-world combat conditions.

Ukraine is already producing three Flamingo missiles per day, and after switching to its own engine, production rates will increase in line with orders.

Ukraine and Germany have launched a joint program, Brave Germany, to develop defense technologies and support military startups.
