Russia's barbaric shelling of Sumy
Russia brutally shelled the center of the border city Sumy with rocket artillery.
Russian forces deliberately struck the center of Sumy, hitting residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. As a result of the attack, three people were killed, and many others were injured. A rescue operation is ongoing.
Zelenskyy called the shelling "barbaric" and emphasized that one of the multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) shells did not explode, instead piercing the wall of an apartment on the ninth floor. According to him, this is clear evidence of Russia’s intent to continue the war.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has conducted another unique operation and struck the Crimean Bridge for the third time.
The operation lasted several months. First, SBU agents mined the pillars of this illegal facility.
And today, without any civilian casualties, the first explosive device was activated at 4:44 am local time.
The explosion severely damaged the underwater supports of the pillars at the bottom level. The SBU notes that 1,100 kg of TNT equivalent explosives were used. The bridge is severely damaged.

Russian attack hits Ukrainian Kramatorsk gas line, thousands left without supply
Russian forces attacked the gas supply system of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region yesterday, leaving about 3,000 subscribers without gas.
"Yesterday, the enemy struck the city, damaging the gas supply system. In particular, a high-pressure distribution gas pipeline was hit, causing a fire that was visible from various parts of the city," the City Council stated.
An emergency crew quickly localized the emergency situation. As a result, 2,788 subscribers in the city and the settlement of Yasnohirka were left without gas.
The exact consequences of the attack are still being assessed, and specialists will soon begin repair work.

The New York Times, citing American officials, wrote that Russia is expected to retaliate against Ukraine for the SBU's strikes on air bases with strategic aircraft.
“What could be the threatening actions of strategic aviation? It can fly to the launch area, Saratov region, and launch missiles from there. A threat is when there is information that aircraft are likely to be equipped with missiles or that munitions are being brought to temporary or permanent airfields. Then it is a threat to us, we should expect attacks,” Air Force says.
