Ukraine decides to 'hide' arms manufacturers from Russian attacks: What it means

The Ukrainian government has authorized the removal of all information about Ukrainian arms manufacturers from public registries, according to Ukraine’s Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.
"At the request of manufacturers, the government has decided to restrict access to data on defense industry enterprises in public registries, including information on their location and production capacities," Svyrydenko said.
At the same time, the data will be removed specifically from public aggregators, making it inaccessible to anyone. The measure will apply exclusively to defense manufacturers and only for the duration of martial law.
"Thanks to the Ministry of Defense for developing this solution. The security of our defense industry is a key condition for scaling up production, implementing innovations, and providing our army with everything it needs even more effectively," the Prime Minister added.
Ukrainian weapons exports
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently stated that agreements are being prepared for controlled weapons exports. Exporting types of arms that Ukraine has in surplus (more than the Defense Forces require) could generate additional funds to finance needed weaponry.
The US and Europe have shown active interest in Ukrainian arms. African countries have also demonstrated significant interest. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov announced that the upcoming Technological Task Force will address the issue of establishing arms exports.
