Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that Ukraine is preparing agreements on the controlled export of arms, he said during his evening address.

"Today at the Staff meeting, there were reports on our long-range needs — for the near future, by the end of the year, and for the longer term. The accuracy of our soldiers helps protect the entire state. We are planning contracts and planning production so that our arsenals are sufficiently stocked," he said.

Zelenskyy also emphasized that the export of certain types of surplus weapons can provide Ukraine with additional funds for producing systems in deficit.

"There are already arrangements regarding four export platforms: the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. We will be preparing the relevant agreements," the president added.

Earlier today, Zelenskyy stated that the Ukrainian command would hold a Technological Staff meeting, which would primarily focus on the production of Ukraine's long-range weapons.

Later, Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, stated that the Staff meeting concerned Ukraine's long-range capabilities.
