Ukraine and Greece finalizing security agreement preparation
Ukraine and Greece finalize the text of a bilateral security agreement. The leaders of the countries will be able to sign it in the near future, according to the website of the President of Ukraine.
Deputy Head of the Office of the President Ihor Zhovkva held another round of talks with Greece on signing a bilateral security agreement.
The parties continued to work on the draft document and agreed on a schedule of further negotiations to finalize the agreement so that the leaders could sign it in the near future.
"Our country has already concluded 25 bilateral security agreements in pursuance of the G7 Joint Declaration adopted last year in Vilnius. Ukraine is currently negotiating the signing of security documents with four other states," the Presidential Office said.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently announced four new security guarantee agreements with partner countries.
So far, the agreements have been signed with:
