The UK will continue providing intelligence to Ukraine even after the suspension of data exchange between Kyiv and Washington. However, their capabilities are smaller than those of the United States, The Guardian reports.

According to sources, the UK will also continue analyzing raw data but, in accordance with standard intelligence practices, will not pass on the information to the United States that is received through long-established exchange mechanisms between the two countries.

"They are not as far reaching as US capabilities, not at the same scale and not able to take their place," a former British government official said.

However, according to the outlet, this will allow Ukraine to retain some early warning capabilities regarding attacks and a certain level of strike potential against deep targets in Russia.

The Guardian noted that intelligence data collected via satellites, ground stations, reconnaissance aircraft such as Rivet Joint, and even covertly deployed ground forces is being accumulated and shared with Ukraine, along with open-source information.

This enables powerful missile and drone strikes against Russian territory.

On March 5, media reported that the US had halted intelligence sharing with Ukraine for strikes on Russian territory.

The Director of the CIA confirmed that Washington had suspended not only intelligence data exchange but also weapons supplies.

It was also noted that today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the teams from Ukraine and the United States have resumed their work.

Moreover, the Ukrainian President confirmed that a meeting between the delegations of Ukraine and the US will take place next week in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, the US Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, pointed out that the framework for a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia could be discussed during the negotiations.
