The Ukrainian and American delegations will hold a meeting in Saudi Arabia next week, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a Telegram post.

The head of state noted that his visit to Saudi Arabia is scheduled for Monday, March 10, to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

"After that, my team will stay in Saudi Arabia to work with American partners. Ukraine is the most interested in peace," emphasized Zelenskyy.

According to him, Ukraine is working and will continue to work exclusively constructively to achieve a swift and reliable peace.

Meeting in Saudi Arabia

As reported today, March 6, Western media wrote that on March 12, Ukrainian and American officials will meet in Saudi Arabia.

The US delegation will include US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US Special Representative for the Middle East Steve Witkoff, and US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian delegation will include at least the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriiy Yermak and Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.

According to Witkoff, the US plans to discuss a framework for a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia during the meeting.
