Senior advisor to the US president, Jason Miller, commented on the suspension of military aid to Ukraine. He stated that Donald Trump aims to influence President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in this way, CNN reports.

Commenting on the suspension of aid to Ukraine, Miller stated that Trump is acting aggressively in his attempts to force Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to agree to a deal that would end the war.

"Sometimes leaders can use the carrot, sometimes they can use the stick. In this case, I think President Trump is using a hard argument to get his point across to President Zelenskyy," Trump's advisor noted.

These actions by the US president are driven by Trump's desire to stop the killings in Ukraine, Miller added.

"President Trump is the only person, the only person talking about stopping the killing. Zelensky has got to get back to the table. He has to take this seriously," the US president's advisor emphasized.

Suspension of US military aid

Today, several leading Western media outlets, citing a White House official, reported that the administration of US President Donald Trump has suspended all military aid shipments to Ukraine.

The decision affects ammunition, vehicles, and other equipment, including supplies approved during the tenure of US President Joe Biden. However, there has been no official announcement regarding this decision, and Trump himself has not commented on it.

Later, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk commented on the suspension of US military aid to Ukraine. He noted that reports from the border, particularly from the Polish hub in Jasionka, confirm the White House’s decision.

Meanwhile, the French government has opposed the suspension of US military aid to Kyiv. Officials stated that halting arms supplies to Ukraine would only delay peace, as it would strengthen the aggressor’s position.
