Trump's team reveals details of meeting with Zelenskyy in US

The administration of US President Donald Trump confirmed that the American leader will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on December 28 in Florida, according to the White House schedule.
The bilateral meeting is set to take place in Palm Beach at 3:00 PM local time (11:00 PM Kyiv time).
Near this resort is Trump’s private Mar-a-Lago residence, where, according to the schedule, he had arrived for the weekend.
What preceded the meeting
On Friday, December 26, it was announced that Donald Trump would meet with Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday, December 28, at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.
Zelenskyy noted that during the meeting with his American counterpart, he would definitely raise territorial issues. According to Zelenskyy, discussions with Trump would include both the Donbas region and the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
Trump, in turn, expressed cautious optimism about reaching a peace agreement during Zelenskyy’s visit to his Mar-a-Lago club. He said that while Ukraine and Russia are seeking a peaceful resolution, both sides are proceeding cautiously.
Zelenskyy also commented on whether European leaders would be present at his meeting with Trump.
Additionally, Zelenskyy later stated that the US president could visit Ukraine to support a peace agreement aimed at ending the war. He also mentioned that White House special envoy Steve Witkoff and the president’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, are already ready to visit Ukraine.
