Sunday, Florida: Zelenskyy names topics for meeting with Trump, territories on agenda

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the 20-point plan is already 90% complete. He also stressed that during a meeting with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, he would be sure to raise the issue of territories, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this while answering journalists’ questions.
The Ukrainian leader expressed gratitude to the teams of the countries involved, adding that they had "done a very good job" and prepared the first drafts of the documents. At the same time, he stressed that there are issues that can be discussed only at the level of leaders, in particular, security guarantees.
"As for prosperity, this is the restoration of our state. And, frankly, the 20-point plan we have been working on is 90% ready. Our task is to make sure everything is ready 100%. This is not easy, and no one is saying that it will reach 100% immediately," Zelenskyy said.
He noted that with every meeting and conversation between representatives of countries, Ukraine must "bring the desired result closer."
Issues planned for discussion
"We have a broad agenda. It will take place over the weekend — I think on Sunday. Florida — we will have a meeting with President Trump. We will discuss these very documents, as I said, security guarantees — and there are several documents within this block — and it would be desirable to find an opportunity to discuss all of them," the Ukrainian leader stressed.
Zelenskyy named the economic agreement as the next issue, noting that, for now, there are only basic developments on it.
"As for signing — I cannot say now whether anything will be ready by the end. This meeting is precisely to finalize as much as we can. Will territorial issues be discussed? All issues where we have questions, where there are differences — our side will definitely raise them," he said.
Donbas, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, and the Ukrainian army
According to Zelenskyy, he will also discuss Donbas and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant with Trump.
"Frankly, as for the army, everything that is currently enshrined in our agreements — I have said all of this openly. We are satisfied with the army configuration that is fixed there today. For us, this is a security guarantee. And the American side hears us," the country’s leader noted.
On Friday, December 26, it became known that Donald Trump will hold a meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday, December 28, at his Mar-a-Lago residence in the state of Florida.
The US ambassador to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, has predicted a timeline for reaching peace between Ukraine and Russia. According to him, this could happen within the next 90 days.
