US President Donald Trump gave a cryptic response to a Russian military strike on a maternity hospital in the city of Kharkiv, speaking to reporters while en route to Texas.

While speaking to the press near the White House, Trump was asked about his reaction to the Russian attack on the maternity hospital earlier that day.

"You'll be seeing things happen," he replied.

Strike on Kharkiv

At approximately 5:30 AM today, the Russian military struck Kharkiv's Saltivskyi district with two kamikaze drones.

The explosions damaged a maternity hospital where mothers and newborns were present.

Trump's stance on Putin and Russia

Recently, CNN published an audio recording in which Trump allegedly described how he once tried to deter Russian President Vladimir Putin from invading Ukraine by threatening to bomb Moscow to hell.

The recording was reportedly made during Trump's 2024 presidential campaign events in New York and Florida, likely while he was seeking a second term. More details about the recording and Trump's remarks can be found in RBC-Ukraine's report.

On July 3, Putin stated that he had a scheduled conversation with US President Donald Trump. Details of what Trump and Putin discussed are also covered by RBC-Ukraine.

Trump has also expressed dissatisfaction with Russia's massive drone assault on Ukraine, which involved over 700 drones. He said that up to 7,000 people are dying each week on both sides. Later, he added that he was disappointed in Putin and warned of a surprise for the Russian leader.

Moreover, Trump announced that he would soon make an important statement regarding the war started by Russia against Ukraine.

"I'm disappointed in Russia, but we'll see what happens over the next couple of weeks. I think I'll have a major statement to make on Russia on Monday," he said.
