Trump reacts to Russian strike on Flex plant in Mukachevo

US President Donald Trump said he is "not happy" that a Russian missile hit an American factory in Zakarpattia, according to a White House broadcast.
"I told him I'm not happy about it. And I'm not happy about anything having to do with that war (the Russian-Ukrainian war)," said the American leader.
Russian attack on Mukachevo
On the night of August 21, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Mukachevo in Zakarpattia, located 35 kilometers from the Hungarian border. Two powerful explosions were heard in the city.
It was later reported that as a result of the attack, a plant of the American company Flex, the largest employer and taxpayer in Mukachevo, where about 3,000 people worked, was destroyed.
As a result of the Russian attack on Mukachevo, 23 people were injured, 11 of whom are in hospitals in the region.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko, reacting to the strike, ironically noted that Russia decided to "liberate" Ukraine from coffee machines that were produced at this enterprise.
Meanwhile, rescuers have been battling a large-scale fire at the site of the strike for the second day.
ISW analysts believe that the Russian attack on the plant was likely aimed at discouraging the United States and European partners from investing in and developing business in Ukraine.
