US President Donald Trump held talks today, February 12, with Russian President Vladimir Putin. They discussed, in particular, the war against Ukraine, according to the American leader on Truth Social and Russian media.

Ukraine secures major defense aid packages at Ramstein meeting - Ukrainian Defense Minister

On February 12, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov summarized Ramstein's meeting. Ukraine received powerful aid packages from its partners, stated Umerov during a press conference before the meeting.

The Defense Minister stated that 50 countries attended meeting, where they discussed budgets and priorities for 2025.

"Security assistance will continue. Air defense, interceptors, artillery, ammunition, and armored vehicles were prioritized, and we received very strong aid packages... And each participant confirmed that they will continue this support this year and in the future," he emphasized.

Ukrainian intelligence cyber specialists have attacked the infrastructure of Gazprom’s main contractor, Gazstroyprom, which plays a role in supporting Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, according to RBC-Ukraine's source.

According to sources, the cyberattack also targeted 22 other companies involved in the construction and maintenance of Russia’s oil and gas infrastructure.

As a result of the operation:

  • More than 120 physical hypervisor servers were disabled.
  • File storage containing 2 petabytes (2,000 terabytes) of documentation was destroyed.
  • Over 10,000 employee computers at critical Russian enterprises were rendered inoperable.
