The US Department of Justice has released part of the Jeffrey Epstein case files that were considered "lost." These files mention US President Donald Trump, according to Sky News.
The released documents belong to the FBI and are related to sexual assault allegations involving Trump. When the Epstein files were initially published, these documents were missing, a fact noted by several British and US media outlets.
After the revelation, the US Department of Justice stated that some files had reportedly been marked as "duplicative," which made them inaccessible to the public. This error has now been corrected.
The "lost" files contain materials from three separate FBI interviews with one of the alleged victims. She claimed that she experienced sexual abuse by Jeffrey Epstein and mistreatment by Trump.
"Mr. Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing, and he and the White House have said the Epstein files have exonerated him. In an earlier statement on Thursday, the president's press secretary Karoline Leavitt said they are "completely baseless" and "backed by zero credible evidence,'" the outlet noted.
Earlier in 2026, the US Department of Justice released another batch of the so-called Epstein files, totaling over three million pages. US President Trump is mentioned more than 38,000 times across 5,300 files.
On February 16, the US Attorney General, Pam Bondi, released a complete list of known individuals and public figures whose names appear in the Jeffrey Epstein case documents.
Trump himself, in February, commented for the first time on the fact that his name appears tens of thousands of times in the new batch of Epstein files. According to him, he has no connection to the sexual offender’s crimes.
