Fresh battlefield figures reveal a notable spike

Russia's military continues to suffer heavy losses as Ukrainian forces wear down its manpower and equipment across the front lines, according to a new report.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to July 29, 2026, are estimated to be:
- Personnel - nearly 1,443,450 (+1,310)
- Tanks ‒ 12,227 (+1)
- Armored fighting vehicles ‒ 25,044 (+6)
- Special equipment ‒ 4,478 (+2)
- Vehicles and fuel tanks ‒ 127,181 (+331)
- Unmanned ground vehicles ‒ 2,063 (+9)
- Artillery systems ‒ 46,962 (+60)
- MLRS ‒ 1,973 (+3)
- Air defense assets ‒ 1,521 (+2)
- Aircraft ‒ 439
- Helicopters ‒ 354
- UAVs (operational-tactical level) ‒ 432,778 (+1,468)
- Cruise missiles ‒ 4,950
- Warships and boats ‒ 34

Frontline situation
Ukrainian FP-1 drones struck a warehouse operated by logistics company 3PL in Koledino. The facility provides cargo storage and distribution for major Russian companies.
Moreover, on July 27 and 28, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out strikes against many key Russian military targets. Explosions were heard both in the temporarily occupied territories and within Russia itself.
