According to the military, Ukrainian units continue active operations in the Pokrovsko-Myrnohrad agglomeration area.
"The enemy has increased efforts to encircle Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. The Russians are intensifying pressure, particularly in the areas of Rodynske and Hryshyne. The situation remains difficult. Due to the expanding 'kill zones' and constant activity of enemy drones, logistics are significantly complicated, but are being maintained," the report said.
In total, over the past 24 hours on the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 39 assault and offensive actions by Russian troops in the areas of Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Muravka, Novomykolaivka, and toward Novooleksandrivka, Kucheriv Yar, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka.
Preliminary assessments indicate that on this direction, Ukrainian forces destroyed 96 unmanned aerial vehicles, four vehicles, three units of special equipment, five ATVs, two artillery systems, two personnel shelters, as well as one armored combat vehicle, 11 vehicles, two artillery systems, and 70 enemy personnel shelters.
Russian troops also increased efforts to encircle Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, intensifying pressure from Kotlyne and Rodynske.
Ukrainian Defense Forces units are countering these enemy plans. This includes enhanced aerial reconnaissance and additional mining of likely Russian advance routes.
Search-and-strike operations are being carried out to prevent further enemy advances, destroying vehicles used by Russian assault groups.
Search-and-strike actions continue by Ukrainian units in and around Myrnohrad.
The Russians continue to use small infantry group tactics, which critically strains their manpower.
Situation on the Pokrovsk direction
Recently, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that Russia is reinforcing reserves in the Pokrovsk area and attempting breakthroughs with small assault groups.
Russian troops conducted a mechanized assault on the village of Hryshyne on the Pokrovsk direction. Ukrainian defenders repelled the attack, destroying part of the enemy’s armored vehicles and personnel, although fighting in the area continued.
According to the military, the enemy is using a "single working tactic." It was also reported that assaults intensified in Myrnohrad.
Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped a large-scale attempt by enemy mobile groups to break through. After two days of intense fighting, the enemy was completely defeated.
According to the 7th Air Assault Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian forces have intensified attempts to encircle Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad using so-called "claw" maneuvers.
In particular, the enemy increased pressure from the directions of Kotlyne and Rodynske.
