Ukrainian forces are systematically eliminating Russian forces in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, and the surrounding areas. All components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces are contributing to the destruction of the enemy troops and the defense of the city, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s evening address.

Zelenskyy noted that he received reports from the military, as well as a separate briefing from the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Malyuk. In Pokrovsk, a systematic elimination of Russian troops is ongoing, with special successes demonstrated by the special forces of the Security Service’s A Special Operations Center.

"Thank you, guys, for your effectiveness. Necessary results have also been achieved by our other units fighting in this direction: our assault units, our operators of the Unmanned Systems Forces, our National Guard soldiers, the Military Law Enforcement Service, the Defense Intelligence, and, of course, all the brigades defending the Donetsk region," the president said while discussing the situation in the city.
