Ukrainian assault troops from the 425th Skelia Separate Assault Regiment expelled Russian forces from the city council building in Pokrovsk during the fighting and raised the Ukrainian flag there. Russian troops who did not flee or surrender were eliminated.
It is reported that two assault groups from the regiment were tasked with advancing into the center of Pokrovsk and expelling Russian forces from the city council building. On the approach to the target, their transport was hit by an enemy FPV drone, but despite this, they managed to enter the city.
The fighters even fell into a Russian ambush, but the Russian army failed again: the ambush was crushed. The Russian troops were eliminated, and although one of the soldiers was wounded, he continued to carry out the mission.
In the end, the enemy was defeated and driven out of the building. The Ukrainian flag once again flies over the Pokrovsk city council, while the Russian forces suffered losses and retreated.
