Stopping Putin will be a key focus at G7 summit – Zelenskyy

The Ukrainian delegation at the G7 summit will discuss increasing pressure on Russia, particularly through a new price cap on Russian oil, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a press conference with Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen.
"As for the G7, it's very important for us to see what kind of pressure we can all apply to stop Putin [Russian President Vladimir Putin – ed.], to make him cease fire and end the war," Zelenskyy emphasized.
According to him, the G7 summit, in which he will take part, will include discussions on Russia's frozen assets and new sanctions. A key topic will be a stricter price cap on energy resources, especially Russian oil.
"This is a global question — how much longer will our partners continue giving opportunities to the Russians, when they could respond firmly to all their strikes, to all their killings, with sanctions and other measures?" the President added.
