Starmer warns Trump: 'Never trust President Putin'

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer warned US President Donald Trump that Russian leader Vladimir Putin cannot be trusted, The Telegraph reported.
When asked whether Starmer believed Putin could be trusted, the UK prime minister's spokesperson said: "Never trust president Putin as far as you could throw him, but we obviously will support Ukraine."
He added that Britain would support Trump and European countries when starting negotiations with Putin.
"But it is exactly why we've been leading this work on the Coalition of the Willing, because any ceasefire, as I say, cannot just be an opportunity for president Putin to go away, re-arm, restrengthen, and then go again," the spokesperson noted.
