During a mission conducted by Ukrainian intelligence operatives in the Belgorod region of Russia, significant losses were inflicted on the enemy's live forces, resulting in casualties and injuries. One of the severely injured individuals was a "significant figure," according to Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"Not disclosing details, I can say that one of the severely injured individuals was quite a significant figure. A helicopter was immediately requested for evacuation right at the scene," stated the head of military intelligence.

He decided not to divulge further details about the operation carried out by intelligence operatives on enemy territory.

Budanov also noted that this raid was "a routine operation for us."

"Once again, I come back to what I said - we are in an open war, and there's no reason to be surprised. Those who wage war on others sooner or later face it themselves. Ultimately, that's what's happening," concluded the head of the intelligence service.
