Signal to Russia: Nearly 100 NATO aircraft begin exercises in Northern Europe

The NATO Air Forces have started the Ramstein Flag 2025 exercise near the shores of the North Sea. They are practicing the actions of alliance countries' forces in the event of a "Russian attack," Der Spiegel reports.
According to the news agency, the German Air Force, together with NATO partners, is preparing for a scenario of a Russian attack on allied territory. The exercises will focus on the actions of allied ground forces in defensive combat against invaders, in case the worst happens.
It is noted that Germany has sent eight Eurofighter jets from the 71st Tactical Air Wing. According to NATO, a total of over 90 aircraft, helicopters, and drones are involved in Ramstein Flag 2025. Among them are several American F-35 planes, considered the most advanced fighter jets in the world, which were recently ordered by Germany.
Putin is preparing for war with NATO
A recent report from the Bundeswehr stated that the Russian authorities are preparing for a large-scale war against NATO. Russian President Vladimir Putin likely intends to use force to achieve his goals.
At the same time, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda stated that Russia could launch a new attack in just a few years. He believes that Lithuania has four to five years to prepare.
However, Lithuania's Foreign Minister, Kęstutis Budrys, said that the intelligence community of NATO countries has concluded that Russia represents a long-term military threat to the Alliance, and therefore to the entire North Atlantic security, including the United States.
It was also previously reported that large-scale exercises simulating a potential Russian attack on NATO countries will take place in Hamburg, Germany, this autumn. These exercises will focus on the rapid deployment of allied forces in the event of a potential war with Russia.
