"A downed Shahed fell 10 meters from my private house. Not 100, not 500, not somewhere on the horizon. Ten meters. The situation here was saved by an ordinary thick retaining wall," the mayor said.

At the same time, Filatov stressed that he is not implying an assassination attempt, noting that in frontline Dnipro, anyone could find themselves in his position.
The mayor also dismissed speculation that he was "directing fire" by disclosing his location. He said that in a city of one million people, every second resident knows where the mayor lives.
