"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemns and denounces in strongest terms the blatant Iranian aggression and the flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan," the statement said.
The Foreign Ministry noted that Saudi Arabia reaffirms its full solidarity and unwavering support for the brotherly countries, as well as its readiness "to place all its capabilities at their disposal in support of any measures they may undertake."
"It (the Kingdom – ed.) also warns of the grave consequences resulting from the continued violation of states' sovereignty and the principles of international law," the ministry added.
Escalation in the Middle East
On February 28, Israel carried out a preemptive strike on Iran.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced the introduction of an immediate state of emergency across the entire country. According to him, the preemptive strike on Iran was necessary to neutralize existing threats to the State of Israel.
In addition, the attack on Iran is a joint operation by Israel and the United States. US President Donald Trump said that the United States had launched a military campaign in Iran to eliminate threats posed by the current regime.
Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, President Masoud Pezeshkian, and other top officials were among the targets of today's strikes by Israel and the United States in Iran.
In response, Iran launched missiles toward Israeli territory. Air defense systems are already working to intercept the targets.
Tehran also struck US military facilities in Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia.
