In Dnipro, as a result of the evening Russian attack, the number of injured has risen again. In addition, the Russians damaged at least 15 buildings, according to the city's mayor, Borys Filatov.

He informed that the aftermath of the Russian strikes is already being addressed in various areas of Dnipro. A significant amount of heavy municipal machinery has been involved in the process.

"At least 15 buildings have been damaged, including student dormitories, an educational institution, and a food enterprise. The inspections will continue until the morning, especially in the private sector," he wrote.

He also informed that the number of casualties has risen to 28 people, including children.

"City hospitals are assisting the injured. In total, the number of casualties has increased to 28, four of them are children. Thank you to everyone who is with the people during this difficult night. My deepest condolences to the families of the deceased," the mayor of Dnipro concluded.

Drone attack on Dnipro

In the evening of April 16, starting at 9:55 PM, a threat of drone strikes on Dnipro was reported. Over the next hour, at least 10 explosions were heard in the city.

As a result of the attack, fires were reported, buildings were damaged, and cars were destroyed. One of the Shaheds nearly hit the city hall building.

Initially, there was information about two children among the casualties, but this number later increased. By 23:57, it became known that two people had died (a young woman and an older woman), and 16 others were injured. Among them were three children - a 9-month-old girl and two boys, aged 6 and 11 - but fortunately, they were in satisfactory condition.
