Russian missile fragment damages Polish embassy building in Kyiv

Russian forces damaged the Polish embassy in Kyiv during a morning attack on September 28, when a piece of a missile fell onto the diplomatic building, reports TVP World, citing Polish Foreign Minister Paweł Wroński.
According to Wroński, a fragment of the missile landed on the roof of the embassy's consular section, shattered glass, and entered the building, reaching the kitchen.
"The object crashed through the roof and landed in the building's kitchen. No one was hurt. The embassy's operations were not interrupted," he said.
Wroński later confirmed that it was indeed a piece of a Russian missile, striking the same location that had been damaged in a previous incident.
"A fragment of the missile damaged the roof, the same one that was renovated after the previous such attack. The losses are minor, but their assessment is still ongoing," he said.
Last year, the consular section of the Polish embassy in Kyiv was damaged during a Russian missile attack on July 4. No one was injured, and the damage was minimal.
Massive Russian strike on Ukraine
On September 28, Russian forces carried out a combined strike across Ukraine, launching 643 targets. Air defenses neutralized 611 of them. Most of the missiles and drones hit Kyiv and Bila Tserkva.
In Kyiv, a residential complex in Petropavlivska Borshchahivka was heavily damaged, with an entire street destroyed. The Institute of Cardiology was also hit. Four people were killed in the capital, and more than 70 were injured.
The attack also damaged cars in the EU Delegation parking in Ukraine. The assault lasted 12 hours. European leaders have already condemned the latest Russian terrorist act.
