On September 28, Russia launched 595 drones of various types against Ukraine. In addition, the enemy struck with 48 missiles, according the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.

The attackers carried out a combined strike, targeting 643 locations across Ukraine, including:

  • 593 combat drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Oryol, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Chauda and Kacha in Crimea;
  • 2 Banderol-type rocket drones from the Kursk region;
  • 2 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles from Lipetsk airspace;
  • 38 Kh-101 cruise missiles from Saratov airspace;
  • 8 Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea.

Ukraine's air defense intercepted 611 aerial targets.

  • 566 drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types;
  • 2 Banderol-type rocket drones;
  • 35 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
  • 8 Kalibr cruise missiles.

The main direction of the strike was Kyiv. Reports confirmed the impact of 5 missiles and 31 combat drones at 16 locations, while debris from downed drones fell in 25 locations.

Massive attack on Ukraine

Last night, Kyiv, Kyiv region, Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, and Odesa regions came under attack. In Kyiv, four people were killed, including a 12-year-old child. Thirteen others were injured in the capital.

Across Ukraine, at least 40 people were injured, including children.
