A Russian aircraft dropped a R-27 missile on the Belgorod region. It fell near a residential building, according to ASTRA on Telegram.

According to the outlet's sources, on Thursday, February 6, a R-27 missile fell 100 meters from a residential building on Sovetskaya Street in the village of Nikolskoye, Belgorod district.

ASTRA's sources clarified that this occurred during an "unplanned release" of the missile from a Russian aircraft. There were reportedly no casualties or injuries as a result of the incident.

In total, the media outlet counted at least 16 guided aerial bombs and three missiles that have fallen in Russia or on temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine since the beginning of 2025. In 2024 alone, there were 165 recorded cases of "unplanned releases" of aerial bombs.

It is worth noting that R-27 missiles are designed to target aircraft and drones. Their range extends up to 110 kilometers. Both Russia and Ukraine use these missiles.

Falling of Russian missiles and bombs on Russian territory

A few days ago, it was reported that a Russian Kh-59 missile fell in the Belgorod region. The aircraft dropped it near one of the villages in the region.

At the end of January, ASTRA reported that four aerial bombs fell in a single day on temporarily occupied villages in the Donetsk region. The distance between the settlements where the bombs fell was about 4 kilometers.

On January 2, a Russian aerial bomb dropped on the house of a police major in the Kursk region. The bomb did not detonate, but a crater formed at the site of the fall.
