Russian plane drops Kh-59 missile in Belgorod region

A Russian plane "lost" a missile in the Belgorod region. The Kh-59 fell near one of the villages, according to the Astra Telegram channel.
On February 3, a Kh-59 missile was found in a field near the village of Staroseltsevo in the Volokonovskiy district of Belgorod region.
According to Russian military officials, the missile "unexpectedly detached from a Russian aircraft." Allegedly, there were no casualties.
'Losses' of aerial bombs and missiles in Russia in 2025
As reported in a Telegram channel, at least 16 FAB bombs and two missiles, as well as one UMPB-250, have already fallen in Russia and the occupied territories of Ukraine from Russian aircraft in 2025. Additionally, there have been 165 instances of FAB bombs falling in 2024.
In early July 2023, a FAB-3000 bomb fell for the first time from a Russian plane in the Belgorod region. The bomb exploded in a field near Shebekino.
On May 4, 2024, a Russian plane dropped a FAB-500 bomb on Belgorod, resulting in 7 people being injured. The Russian authorities concealed the cause of the bomb's fall, as well as the fact that it was Russian-made.
On November 19 of last year, a Russian plane dropped a 250-kilogram aerial bomb on a school in the Belgorod region.
