On the afternoon of August 19, Russian forces attacked an emergency medical vehicle with a drone. Two medics were injured in the strike, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office reported.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, around 13:20 in Kupiansk, an enemy FPV drone struck an emergency medical vehicle.

Two workers — men aged 56 and 43 — were injured.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kupiansk District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv Region, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime (Part 1, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Attacks on Ukraine on August 19

Last night, on August 19, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, and hundreds of strike drones. Air defense forces destroyed the majority of enemy targets.

In particular, in the Kremenchuk and Lubny districts of Poltava region, there were strikes and falling debris, which damaged administrative buildings of enterprises.

Russian forces also launched cruise missiles at Kremenchuk from Tu-95MS bombers, with air defense operating in the city.

In addition, Russian forces targeted Sloviansk in Donetsk region with two Iskander-M missiles. As a result of the attack, one woman was injured.
