Russia hits Sloviansk in Donetsk region with two Iskander missiles, one injured

Russian forces shelled Sloviansk with two missiles, leaving one person injured, the Sloviansk City Military Administration reports.
On the evening of August 18, Russian troops launched a missile strike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region.
Around 9:00 p.m. local time, two Iskander-M missiles hit an industrial area in the Lisnyi neighborhood.
According to Mayor Vadym Liakh, one civilian woman was injured in the attack. She was taken to the hospital, where doctors assess her condition as moderate.
“She is currently receiving all necessary medical assistance,” Liakh noted.
At night, residents of Sloviansk also reported hearing the sound of Shahed drones operating outside the city.
Attack on Sloviansk
Earlier, the Head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, Vadym Liakh, reported that Russian forces struck Sloviansk with drones on the night of July 13.
That attack damaged residential houses, a kindergarten, and a hospital.
