During the night, the Russian army again carried out strikes on Ukraine's Chernihiv and Sumy regions. Enemy drones hit an oil depot, the Operational Command North reported.

According to the military, as of the morning of October 14, the Russian army carried out 22 attacks on Ukraine's Chernihiv region. A total of 84 explosions were recorded. The enemy attacked the Novhorod-Siverskyi, Koriukivskyi, and Nizhyn districts.

In Semenivka, Russian forces used an FPV drone to strike a store in the city center. A local resident, the store owner, was killed. A local woman was injured and hospitalized. After the explosion, the store building caught fire, and rescuers extinguished the blaze. During the day, two houses in the city were damaged as a result of repeated attacks.

In the Nizhyn district, a fire broke out at an oil depot after four strike drones hit the site. According to the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, in the Nizhyn district, the enemy attacked a civilian infrastructure facility with a wave of drones. A fire broke out, and emergency service units are working to extinguish it.

In the Sumy region, Russian troops carried out nearly 110 attacks on 37 settlements across 15 territorial communities. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.

Attacks on Ukraine

Last night, Russian forces struck Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. The city suffered damage and fires, with civilian casualties reported.

The Kirovohrad region also came under attack. As a result of the Russian strike, train routes were altered.

According to the Air Force, during the night, Russians launched 96 strike drones of various types from six directions. Some of them were shot down, but hits were recorded.
